About Amanda

I've been a lover of photography for as long as I can remember, which sounds as cliche and cheesy as you'd expect with any photographer's bio - but's it the honest to goodness truth!

From a young age I was glued to any behind-the-scenes photo shoot TV special that would document a photo shoot from start to finish, not just the final photographs that we would see in a magazine.

I loved watching the photographer interact with the model, studying how the hair and makeup team transformed the model, and gushing over the amazing locations used as a backdrop.

Since 2003, I’ve had the opportunity to bring this dream to life. I’ve traveled with my clients throughout the East Coast & Internationally. I’ve photographed small weddings with as little as 7 guests to a multi-day 700+ guest wedding and worked with several hundred high school seniors.

With the move into my Downtown Lancaster Studio, I am able to expand my service offerings into glamour & boudoir portraiture as well as personal branding photography and can’t wait to help other women embrace their own definition of beauty!

“The most important relationship in your life is the relationship you have with yourself. Because no matter what happens, you will always be with yourself.”

Diane Von Furstenberg

One of the aspects of photography - specifically working with my female clients is getting to play dress up! I love to pull out their personality through wardrobe & accessories.

During college (at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale) I fell madly in love with food photography! Now, I spend my free time in the kitchen creating delicious meals and then photographing them - a collection of my recipes can be found HERE.

My absolute favorite way to unwind after a busy week of photo shoots, client meetings, and editing is spending time on the nearest body of flat water. Standup paddleboarding has become my favorite way to rest and recover.

When I am not behind the camera I can be found working out, paddleboarding, or in the kitchen making a healthy whole food inspired meals.

I had the honor and privilege of speaking at a photographer’s retreat on the importance of health and wellness for the creative professional. Not only do I have my Associates Degree in Photography, but I also hold a certificate for Holistic Health Coaching and Personal Training. Along with the photography business I also help my fellow creative community through my website Coaching for Creatives

The place where I transformed my life & business. I spend about 1 - 2 hours in the gym a day; it’s my place to shut the world off around me, to turn on the jams, and move weight. I love what the gym has given me through blood, sweat, and tears.
