Hi, I’m Amanda!
I am beyond thrilled that you’ve found your to my little home on the internet. If you are new to my website, welcome and if you’ve been here before, thanks for coming back.
I launched AKP in 2003 after graduating from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale where I studied commercial & portrait photography - focusing my final senior portfolio was fashion & food photography focused. Upon returning to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, I met my husband and built a wedding photography business that took me on countless adventures throughout the East Coast & Internationally. In 2013, I transitioned into high school senior portraits with a goal of helping teens embrace their own definition of beauty.
As you work your way through my portfolio you’ll quickly notice that my work is still heavily female driven but, with an emphasis on supporting female business owners to show the world who they are & what they do through personal branding & social media content photography.
In addition to being the one-woman show behind Amanda Kraft Photography, I am also a co-founder of 16 Paws Creative - a virtual assisting & creative agency that helps support small creative business owners from behind the keyboard so they can focus on their zone of genius and running the business they’ve always dreamed of.
Again, thank you for stopping by and viewing my portfolio!
WAYS WE CAN WORK TOGETHER
I really only have one goal - to help other incredible women see the best version of themselves in a photograph. That might be helping a teenage girl embrace her own definition of beauty or working with a female business owner to create photographs that tell her story and show the world who she is & what she does.
Regardless if you are a teenage girl headed into your senior year of high school or a small business owner, I want to create portraits that bring out the best in you. Each photo shoot is custom designed to suit your personality and style - long gone are the days of feeling like you need to look or dress a certain way for you photos. Show up in boyfriend jeans and a band t-shirt or dressed to the 9’s in a designer gown, heels, and dripping with jewelry - as long as you are embracing your own definition of beauty - I’m ready to photograph YOU!
